Set or return the trigger slope or polarity. When set to POS, trigger events will be generated when a signal?s rising edge crosses the trigger level threshold. When NEG, trigger events are generated on the falling edge of the pulse.

Parameters

Vi

The ViSession handle that you obtain from the IviDriver_init or IviDriver_InitWithOptions function. The handle identifies a particular instrument session.

Slope

Set or return the trigger slope or polarity. When set to POS, trigger events will be generated when a signal?s rising edge crosses the trigger level threshold. When NEG, trigger events are generated on the falling edge of the pulse.

Return Value

Success or failure code.

Name	Description
BTN55XXX_VAL_TRIGGER_SLOPE_POSITIVE	A positive (rising) edge passing through the trigger level triggers the meter.
BTN55XXX_VAL_TRIGGER_SLOPE_NEGATIVE	A negative (falling) edge passing through the trigger level triggers the meter.
